Last night, the honour of Officier de la Légion d’honneur, the French equivalent of an OBE, was awarded to At-Bristol’s retiring Chief Executive, Dr Goéry Delacôte, by his Excellency the Ambassador of France, Bernard Emié at a special event in the science centre.
At-Bristol installs biggest solar panel system in central Bristol

At-Bristol has installed the biggest solar panel system in central Bristol, on the roof of the popular Harbourside attraction. A total of 208 individual panels have been fitted on an area approximately the size of two tennis courts – generating enough power to supply around a dozen homes a year.

At-Bristol were last night awarded silver in the Sustainable Tourism entry of the South West Tourism Excellence Awards – a credit to one of the most sustainable buildings in the country, and were winners from a total of 350 entries overall.

New Chief Executive for At-Bristol is Announced

At-Bristol, one of the UK’s leading science centres based on Bristol’s Harbourside, is today announcing Phil Winfield as its new Chief Executive, taking over the helm from Dr. Goéry Delacôte who has been in post since September 2005.
